What Vintage Snap is

Vintage Snap is an independent iPhone app and website for people who buy and sell vintage and second-hand clothing. You photograph a label or a piece, and the app identifies it, grades its condition, estimates a resale range and writes a listing.

How the app estimates value

The app uses an AI model that reads your photos and checks current market information on the web. Results are estimates, not appraisals. For valuable pieces, we recommend comparing the range with recent sold listings on the marketplace where you plan to sell.

How we write our guides

Our guides are drafted with the help of AI from primary sources: brand archives, official marketplace help and fee pages, public databases such as the FTC’s RN lookup, and dated price observations. Each guide lists its sources, and automated checks review every page before it goes live. We never invent prices, reviews or quotes, and we don’t give investment advice.
